Millions of Ethiopians have no intelligent tool to track, manage, or understand their personal finances. Existing apps are built for Western markets and ignore local context, currency, and spending patterns.
Solution
Built a full-featured AI-powered money management system tailored for Ethiopian users — with smart expense tracking, budget intelligence, and AI-driven financial insights in a clean, modern interface.

Problem
Content teams waste hours manually tagging and categorizing digital assets. There was no fast, intelligent way to organize large volumes of text and images.
Solution
Built an AI-powered web app that automatically generates relevant, context-aware tags from any text or image using Google Gemini — reducing tagging time from hours to seconds.

Job seekers receive generic, unhelpful feedback on their resumes. There was no fast, intelligent way to get actionable, personalized resume analysis.
Solution
Built an AI-powered resume analyzer using prompt engineering to extract structured insights and generate specific, actionable feedback for any resume.

Problem
Enterprise teams were manually managing project access permissions in Odoo ERP — a slow, error-prone process that created security gaps and workflow bottlenecks.
Solution
Built a custom Odoo module that automatically assigns project access based on department selection during CRM-to-Project conversion, eliminating manual intervention entirely.

How I evolved
Not just what I built — how my thinking changed.
Exploration Phase
Started university at Haramaya University with curiosity, not direction. Exploring how software actually works beyond theory.
At that time, I didn't understand systems. I was just trying to understand logic itself.
Foundation Phase
Began formal software engineering studies. Built first real projects using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. The builder mindset started forming.
Software became real to me. Not code — but structured thinking made visible.
System Thinking Phase
Moved into React, Node.js, and MongoDB. Built TaskFlow — learning how components connect into full products.
I stopped thinking in pages. I started thinking in systems and flows.
Enterprise Exposure Phase
Worked in a government innovation environment at Ministry of Innovation and Technology. Built real-world solutions under constraints, scale, and impact requirements.
Constraints stopped being limitations. They became design inputs.
Execution Phase
Graduated BSc Software Engineering from Haramaya University. Joined Alta Computec PLC as AI Systems Engineer. Shipped ስሙኒ ዋሌት, AI Tagger, Resume Analyzer. Shifted toward Africa-scale infrastructure thinking.
I stopped building features. I started building products with intent.
Now
Focused on transport digitization systems, AI-native infrastructure tools, and scalable SaaS for real-world problems. Transitioning from engineer → system builder → founder.
The question is no longer "can I build this?" — it's "should this exist, and who is it for?"
